Following The Leader Wherever He May Go.

I am combining my pieces "Follow The Leader" and "No Worse For Wear," into "Following The Leader Wherever He May Go."

Nine high-fired ceramic and encaustic roly-poly toy clowns parade after a larger gilded hypnotic pompous clown. I started this project late summer 2016 when the thought of our current state of affairs was nothing more than a far off nightmare, a joke. Weeks later, I finished it using the same vintage roly-poly toy imagery, but this time with only 5 deformed clowns surrounding a larger apocalyptic mutant Mickey wearing a gas mask. Our future?
