And the third installation is with The 39th annual Made in California Juried Exhibition at the Brea Gallery. My "American Alphabet," is in this prestigious show. This piece is one of my favorites because it's a poem I wrote, then made a small book and now a large wall piece that's part of my "New Normal," series about challenging the acceptance of gun violence. MICA: "This annual juried exhibit showcases artwork from all over the state of California. MICA strives to highlight artists in all stages of their careers and offers them a chance to compete for a number of cash prizes, as well as the coveted solo show opportunity. This regional show features artwork from an extensive variety of mediums and explores creative movements happening in California."
