F U And The Horse U Road In ON
This is an assemblage mixed media sculpture consisting of ceramic, wood and found objects. He is an adult size hobby horse with a broken back and the rubber coming off his wheels. The piece came from a place of broken promises, and a quote I read, "Nobody has ever broken your heart. They broke your expectations." Here are a few photos of the head in progress just before the last firing at cone 10. #sculpture #ceramics #clay #toys #horse #wheel

Dear President: A nonpartisan plea.
Dear President, Congratulations. You won. Was it because you represent the best of us; the best example of humanity this country has to offer? Was it your track record, your experience with people, your diplomacy? Was it your popularity with the common experience or the majority indifference? I am sure this piece is influenced by the abstract pieces I viewed on field trips to museums as a child; Art sitting in the middle or co

No Support
A work in progress. Unfired clay ceramic sculpture for the series 'Lost Not Forgotten', titled 'No Support'. So far you are looking at about 5 hours of work, off and on. This will have to dry out before it's fired then glazed and fired again. Should be done in a few weeks and I will post the after. UPDATE: 1-20-2015 Details of the back I altered for emphasis before the first kiln fire. #bears #ginam #sculpture #clay #ceramics
